Even with this book, some of the functions did not work as predicted. I found I needed to purchase the Graphing Calculator Manual by Judith A Penna (I had already owned her Precalculus textbook)to learn how to use this machine to solve textbook problems. So it is definitely a must have if you plan to study high school or college level math courses. My granddaughter will be taking algebra I in high school this Fall and when she spotted it on my desk she immediately knew what it was and said she may have to buy one if the school does not provide one for free. The high tech device back them was the slide rule-which I never fully conquered. When I was in college this kind of calculator was only a science fiction dream. I purchased this because I wanted to review algebra after decades out of college. A must have if you are taking precalculus math!
